Willpower is great for short term pursuits.  Training for a race or studying for an exam? Willpower might just push you through. 

But trying to sustain willpower for life tasks which need longevity can place us under considerable stress.  What’s more, beating ourselves up about lack of will power is rarely helpful and can leave us more stuck than when we started. 


Instead Try: Set an intention, build from the foundations, take steps towards change
